English	Sunhyangjeong(Bell Pavilion of Echoing Virtue) was born to echo a sound of peace and prosperity to Asia at the ASEAN–Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit 2019 in Busan. Its meaning and overall shape follows the traditional Korean bells, but it has been modernly reinterpreted by applying 5G and AI technology. It is also designed to empathize with pan-Asian orientalism beyond Korean characteristics. The landscape of Oriental painting is linked with the bell and it will welcome Asian leaders with a serene but magnificent echoing sound.
Native	선향정은 “2019 한·아세안 특별 정상 회의”를 맞아, 평화와 번영의 울림을 주고자 탄생하였다. 한국의 범종을 모티브로 하여 전체적인 비례와 용뉴, 견대, 윤곽등은 전통을 따르되 AI, 5G 테크놀로지 등을 적용하여 현대적으로 재해석하였다. 범종을 품고 있는 구조물 또한 전통 구축 방법을 따르되 한국성을 넘어 범아시아적인 오리엔탈리티를 공감하도록 디자인되었다. 기둥 너머로 보이는 수목화적 풍경은 범종과 연계되어, 고요하면서도 웅장한 울림으로 각국 정상들을 환대할 것이다. 이 커다란 울림이 아시아를 넘어 만방에 새로운 시작을 알리길 기대한다.
