Many children start swimming early, but those who struggle with repetitive lessons and a predetermined curriculum often lose interest and quit easily. Splash is a product designed to transform swimming into a playful experience, providing children with an augmented reality (AR) adventure in the unique setting of underwater. Shaped like goggles, the AR glasses are seamlessly usable underwater, allowing kids to experience the sensation of swimming in an imaginative world, be it beneath the ocean or in outer space. This innovative approach aims to make swimming an enjoyable activity and encourages sustained engagement among children.

수영을 어릴 때부터 시작하는 아이들은 많지만, 단순 반복형태의 강습과 정해진 진도를 따라가는데 어려움을 느끼는 아이들은 쉽게 수영에 흥미를 잃고 그만두곤 합니다. 아이들이 상상하는 물 속의 풍경만큼 수영장 속 풍경은 상상력을 자극하는 재미있는 공간이 아닙니다. Splash는 물 속이라는 특수한 상황에서 AR을 통해 아이들에게 상상 속의 세계에서 헤엄치는 경험을 제공하며 수영을 하나의 놀이로써 즐길 수 있도록 하는 제품입니다. Splash AR을 착용하면 수영장의 지도 위치를 인식하고 시스템이 시작됩니다. 사용자는 Explorer mode에서 수영장 안의 새로운 다양한 아이템과 상호작용하며 수집하고, Scuba mode에서 수집한 아이템을 수영장 안에 배치하여 나만의 수영장으로 꾸밀 수 있습니다. Network mode에서 꾸민 수영장 맵에 친구를 초대하여 그 공간에서 함께 헤엄치고 미니게임을 하며 추억을 쌓을 수 있습니다. 이러한 기능을 통해 Splash는 실내 수영장을 아이들의 즐거운 놀이 공간으로 만듭니다. 이를 통해, 수영을 하는 매 경험을 새롭게 인식하고 아이템을 통해 내 수영장을 꾸밈으로써 지속적인 동기부여를 제공하고 수영을 상상 속 바닷속이나 우주에서 헤엄치는 환상적인 활동으로 즐길 수 있도록 하며 아이들의 지속적인 수영을 유도합니다.
