English	kyu cloth is the world's first card-shaped polishing cloth. It is the same size as a credit card, so it can be carried in a card case or glove compartment for daily use on the go. Conventional polishing cloths are difficult to carry around on a daily basis due to their large size. They cannot reach tight crevices, and their very existence is not beautiful. kyu cloth has evolved from conventional cloths. Not only is it portable, but its moderate firmness allows it to clean narrow crevices of gadgets such as PCs and cameras that are difficult to reach with conventional cloths. Above all, its very existence itself is beautiful.
Native	スマートフォン、スマートウォッチ、タブレット、ノートパソコン、カメラ、ドローンなど、持ち運ぶガジェットは日々進化し、増加し続けている。それに伴い、外出先でガジェットの汚れを拭き取りたい瞬間は増えている。しかし日常的に持ち運びたくなるクリーニングクロスは少ない。従来のクリーニングクロスはサイズが大きく、布状であるため嵩張ってしまい持ち運びづらい。そう言った理由から、持ち運びたくなるデザインが求められていた。また、拭く対象であるPCやカメラは狭い溝や入り組んだ形状があり、布状のクリーニングクロスでは隙間に届かないという問題があった。モノを綺麗にするプロダクトとして、その存在自体の美しさにも課題があった。 そこでカード型のデザインに挑んだ。クレジットカードと同じサイズを採用することで、カードケースや財布、ガジェットポーチ内のポケットなど、従来のカードスペースに入れて日常的に持ち運ぶことができる。適切な硬さにもこだわり、カードとしての硬さと布の柔らかさの融合を目指した。硬さがあることで折れ曲がらず、PCやカメラなどの狭い隙間の埃を拭き取ることができる。適度な柔らかさがあることで、画面を拭く際の快適さを感じられるよう工夫した。 そして何より、その存在自体の美しさを追求した。どこに置いてもノイズのないシンプルな外観を目指し、無縫製の圧着構造を採用した。長年進化してこなかったクリーニングクロスというプロダクトにおいて、機能性と審美性の双方で全く新しいデザインを生み出す決意で臨んだ。
