The fragrance is an invisible thing, so focused on how could change it into visible things in space. The French Perfume Brand ‘Goutal Paris’ makes products based on nature such as flowers, soil, etc. Considering the brand identity and coming up with the image of floral scent that flows along with the wind. Mass of furniture was inspired by the moment of rising wind. Furthermore, the display of products leads customers to travel around the store with perfume as a flower trip. The 3 vertical columns made of fabric are rooms for perfume. In this area, customers only can smell a single scent deeply.

향은 눈에 보이지 않는 요소입니다. 어떻게 하면 눈에 보이지 않는 향의 이미지를 공간에 풀어낼 수 있을지 고민하였습니다. 클라이언트인 ‘Goutal Paris’는 꽃이나 토양 등 자연적 요소들을 베이스로 하여 향수를 만들고 있습니다. 이러한 브랜드의 아이덴티티와 그에 맞은 이미지들을 고민하였고. 그 결과, 들판 위 바람에 따라 자유롭게 움직이는 향을 떠올렸습니다. 바람은 향의 매개체로써 향을 느끼기 위해 필요한 필수적 요소라 생각합니다. 들 위에 바람이 부는 순간을 상상하며 가구의 매스를 디자인하였고, 그 가구 위에 향수를 자연스럽게 이어지도록 진열하여 소비자가 마치 들판에서 꽃향기를 맡으면서 돌아다니듯, 흐름을 따라 향 속을 여행할 수 있게 유도하였습니다. 천으로 이루어진 3개의 기둥은 각각 향을 품고 있는 향기의 방으로, 그곳에서는 온전히 하나의 향만을 느낄 수 있습니다.
