Traffic accidents in blind spots accounted for most of them. To address this problem, many road reflectors have been installed, but it is difficult to accurately determine the distance even if there are road reflectors while driving, and it is difficult to recognize the vehicles opposite, especially at night and in bad weather. Signal Convex Mirror, which was created to secure this problem of road reflectors. This product is more effective in night time and bad weather when it is dark and difficult to recognize the vehicle opposite by providing information as easily and reliably as traffic lights.

2022년 OECD 국가통계에 따르면 교통사고 건수는 약 210만 건에 달한다. 사각지대에서의 교통사고가 대부분을 차지했습니다. 음주운전, 졸음운전과 달리 사각지대에서의 사고는 운전자가 주의를 기울여도 발생하는 경우가 많다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 도로 반사판이 많이 설치되어 있으나, 주행 중 도로 반사판이 있어도 정확한 거리 판단이 어렵고, 특히 야간이나 악천후에는 반대편 차량을 인지하기 어렵습니다. 이러한 도로 반사판의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 탄생한 신호볼록거울(Signal Convex Mirror)은 기존 반사판에 거리 측정 카메라와 LED 조명을 결합해 기존 반사판의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 아이디어다. 상단에 설치된 카메라를 통해 충돌 예상 구간 사이의 거리를 계산해 50m 이내 접근 시 안전할 때 빨간색, 녹색으로 점등됩니다. 뒷면에 있는 태양광 발전기를 통해서도 충전이 가능합니다. 이 제품은 야간이나 악천후 등 어두워서 맞은편 차량 인지가 어려운 상황에서 신호등처럼 쉽고 확실하게 정보를 제공해 더욱 효과적이다. 이 제품을 통해 운전자가 주의를 기울이더라도 발생 할 수 있는 사각지대 교통사고의 수를 줄일 수 있으며, 악천우에도 운전자의 안전을 지켜줄 것 이다.
