English “Safety is Simple” E-scooter riding, which has become a global issue, is also a major social problem in South Korea, with accident rates increasing immensely and requiring urgent resolution. We launched the Scoot Safe campaign, creating the world’s first short-form video traffic signage that portrays dangerous situations encountered on e-scooter rides in an easy, fun, and relatable manner. The videos were distributed via QR codes, to be viewed upon scanning the QR codes on e-scooters near university campuses, allowing students to learn essential traffic laws quickly and easily.
Native “Safety is Simple” 대한민국에서 퍼스널모빌리티 사용률이 가장 높은 1020 세대들을 위해 기존 교통사인과 다른 새로운 디자인과 매체로 차별점을 두었습니다. 더 개성있고, 편하고, 빠른 것을 원하는 퍼스널모빌리티 사용자들의 타겟에 맞춰 먼저 인체공학적 픽토그램 디자인으로 주행자가 꼭 알아야 할 핵심 10가지 교통 사인 디자인을 제작하고 다양한 상황들을 스토리텔링하여 위트있는 쇼츠영상으로 제작하여 관심을 두지 않았던 교통 사인의 인식을 높였습니다. 5초-10초 분량의 쇼츠 사인들은 SNS, 공유킥보드 플랫폼, 옥외간판 등 다양한 곳에 활용되었습니다. 교통 사인의 새로운 방향과 혁신을 제시한 ScootSafe는 대한민국 정부의 대학협력기반 지역혁신사업단인 Mobility ICT Division과 공주대학교와 함께 실행되었으며 천안지역 내 저예산 대비 효과적으로 노출되어 PM 사고 문제를 해결하고 지역사회에 큰 도움이 되었습니다.
