This residence was designed to fit within the constraints of a densely populated residential area. Externally, the careful placement of windows and the structure of the exterior walls skilfully blocks views from neighbours, ensuring high levels of privacy. Furthermore, careful attention to materials and colour tones achieves a simple yet stylish design. Inside, the design incorporates external views to ensure plenty of natural light. Like a painting, the view from the windows changes daily. The combination of a closed exterior and an open interior creates a sense of security, calmness and comfort in the home.

こちらの住宅は、密集する住宅地という厳しい敷地条件の中で計画されました。外観では窓の位置や外壁の構造を緻密に検討し周囲からの視線を巧みに遮ることで高いプライバシー性を確保しています。さらに素材や色合いにもこだわりシンプルでありながらスタイリッシュなデザインを実現しました。一方、室内空間では外部の景色を取り込み自然光を十分に確保し風の通り道を意識した設計で快適で開放感のある暮らしをつくっています。窓から見える景色は季節や時間によって表情を変えるまるで毎日変わる絵画のようです。閉じた外観と開かれた内部空間との絶妙なバランスを整えることで住宅の密集地でありながら安心感と落ち着きそして心地よさを両立させています。
