In the near future, as humanity embarks on long-term space missions, we will face the challenge of adapting to zero gravity environments. Unlike Earth's terrestrial evolution over a million years, prolonged exposure to zero gravity makes us float uncontrollably. To address this, I propose the Augmented Limb, a robotic tail inspired by monkeys' anatomical structure for balance. It's a wearable device enhancing control in three-dimensional space, swiftly adapting from a flexible tail to rigid support. This innovation has great potential for improving human adaptation in zero gravity.

This design was highly praised for its innovative biomimicry and futuristic application in zero-gravity environments. By drawing inspiration from monkey tails, the Augmented Limb enhances human mobility and stability in space, offering a dynamic transition between flexibility and rigidity. Its wearable adaptability makes it a practical and groundbreaking solution for long-term space missions, addressing one of the fundamental challenges of human movement in microgravity.
