Jiangmen is considered as hometown of overseas Chinese. In order to attract overseas Chinese, local government requested a new logo for culture and tourism sector. The shape of logo integrates features of a traditional Chinese Character Men which means gate, and structure of memorial archway. Memorial archway is an architectural located in many entrances of Chinese villages. It is also symbol of Chinatown. The logo incorporates elements which extracted from cityscape, architecture, cultural heritage, landscape and plants of Jiangmen. These elements were replaceable while shape is unchangeable, make this design sustainable and flexible.

被誉为中国侨都的江门,为吸引海外华侨游客,江门市文广旅体局谋划江门文旅品牌建设,并提出需要一个可以高度凝练概括江门文旅资源的品牌标识。在品牌LOGO上,团队选用了汉字的‘门’作为设计基础,彰显江门中国第一侨乡的门户概念,并参考了白沙祠以及海外中国城与唐人街的各种牌楼,这一座座牌楼,不仅仅代表中国的江门,还代表华人华侨的乡愁,看到牌楼,就让人想起自己的血脉,想起了自己的宗祠,以及田园风光中,竖立着各式牌楼的村口街头。门里的特征,融入了非遗传统文化符号、自然风光、建筑文化、美食文化等江门五邑各地的多种招牌元素,这众多景点和人文特色有机结合在一起,远观为门,近看处处有景点,五邑精彩,共聚一门。这种方式允许替换元素,使之开放、灵活而可持续,突破了LOGO的地域和时间局限。
