BODYFRIEND is a healthcare company based in Korea that produces the world's No. 1 medical chair containing medical technology. This project aims to define BODYFRIEND's new auditory identity with the brand sound and music and consistently manage users’ auditory experiences. Users and non-sound designers have actively participated in our design process whereas only sound designers had a control over typical auditory design methodology. The result of this project, brand sound and brand music, expressed not only the phenomenological image of the brand but also the potential positive image that users have.

바디프랜드는 메디컬 기술이 담긴 글로벌 1위 메디컬 체어를 생산하는 한국의 헬스케어 기업이다. 본 프로젝트는 바디프랜드의 새로운 사운드 아이덴티티를 정의하고, 이를 기반으로 하는 브랜드 사운드와 브랜드 뮤직을 디자인하여 소비자의 청각 경험을 일관되게 관리하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 본 디자인 프로세스는 비사운드 디자이너와 사용자가 직접 디자인 과정에 참여하였다는 점에서, 기존의 사운드 디자이너들에게만 의존했던 이전의 청각 디자인 방법론과 확연한 차이가 있다. 프로젝트의 결과물인 브랜드 사운드와 브랜드 뮤직은 브랜드의 현상학적 이미지 뿐만 아니라 소비자들이 가지고 있는 잠재된 긍정적 이미지까지 표현하였다.
