English	It is a project to remodel a building used as a sauna and transform it into a cafe. The goal was to create a better space by using existing steel structures and trees. Palgongsan Mountain seen in the target area is used as a design language to provide an unusual experience to feel Mother Nature, and the shape of the mountain is expressed by creating a triangular structure with different heights. It looks like a work of unusual scale, and each mountain is connected to a table. The triangular structure inside the steel structure was finished with a mirror to create an object that matches the industrial space.
Native	본 프로젝트는 오랜 기간 찜질방으로 사용하던 건물을 리모델링하여 카페로 변경하는 사업이다. 세월감이 느껴지는 철골구조 및 기존 수목들을 활용하여 보다 더 나은 공간을 조성하는 것을 목표하였다. 시각적으로 불필요한 요소를 가리기 위해 담장을 세워 공간을 구획하고, 봄이면 만개하는 벚꽃나무와 가을에 단풍이 드는 느티나무를 보존하여 계절감을 부여한다. 대상지에서 보이는 팔공산을 디자인언어로 가져와 일상 속에서 대자연을 느낄 수 있는 이색적 경험을 제공하고, 높낮이가 다른 삼각구조물을 조성하고 잔디로 마감하여 팔공산을 차경하는 첩첩산중의 모습을 표현하였다. 비일상적인 스케일로 하나의 작품처럼 보이며, 선적으로 긴 테이블을 관통하여 각각의 산들이 유기적으로 연결되어 보이도록 디자인되었다. 테이블은 물을 담을 수 있도록 제작하여 산골짜기의 흐르는 강을 형상화했고, 하늘을 담는 잔잔한 물결을 감상하며 공간에 집중할 수 있도록 의도했다. 지붕이 있는 철골구조 내부의 삼각구조물은 거울로 마감하여 인더스트리얼 느낌과 조화로운 오브제를 연출하고, 조도가 부족한 공간으로 거울에 반사되는 빛의 굴절 또한 이색적인 경관을 선사한다.
