English	CLOUD SHADE is a 3.5m high, 26m long cloud-shaped canopy that offers both sunlight and shade. The perfect shade of a regular pergola can sometimes feel artificial and create a dark vibe, so we envisioned a facility that combines with nature to compensate for this. The design is based on the way clouds regulate sunlight, and the perforated plate allows just the right amount of sunlight to pass through, so users can feel the natural light even in the shade. When you sit under CLOUD SHADE and look up, you can see the clouds floating along with the faint sunlight. This allows users to enjoy life with nature anytime, anywhere under CLOUD SHADE.
Native	CLOUD SHADE는 높이 3.5m, 길이 26m의 구름 형태 회랑으로 햇빛과 그늘을 모두 경험할 수 있는 자연친화적 휴게시설입니다. 일반적인 파고라는 그늘은 제공하지만 완벽한 그늘 조성이 오히려 인공적인 느낌을 부여하고, 자칫 어두운 분위기를 연출하는 경우가 있어 이를 보완하고자 자연과 결합된 휴게시설물을 구상했습니다. 구름이 햇빛을 조절하는 것에 착안한 디자인으로 타공판을 통해 적당량의 햇빛을 통과시킴으로써 그늘 속에서도 자연광을 느낄 수 있는 것이 장점입니다. 태양의 위치에 따라 그늘의 위치와 모양이 달라지고 이용자로 하여금 보는 재미를 제공합니다. 타공판의 구멍은 서로 엇갈리게 배치되어 다양한 패턴의 그늘이 만들어지고 이용자가 입체감을 느낄 수 있도록 디자인하였습니다. CLOUD SHADE가 도심 속에 설치될 때, 이용자는 도시의 소음과 획일적인 풍경에서 잠시 벗어나 자연 속에 있는 느낌을 받게 됩니다. CLOUD SHADE 아래에 앉아 잠시 고개를 들어 위를 바라보면 은은한 햇빛과 함께 떠 있는 구름을 보게 되는데요. 이를 통해 이용자는 CLOUD SHADE 아래에서라면 언제, 어디서든 자연과 함께하는 삶을 누릴 수 있게 됩니다.
