English	Refugium is furniture designed to create a sense of one's own space in outdoor settings. Inspired by the etymology of "refuge," it addresses the needs of modern young people who desire a personal sanctuary. The design features a partition structure that lightly shields the sides, blocking external gazes while maintaining an unobstructed forward view. This fulfills the elements that make a space feel truly personal.
Native	야외장소에서 자기만의 공간에 있다는 효과를 주기 위한 가구 Refugium입니다. 피난처의 어원으로 현시대 도시에 살고있는 청년들을 위해 그들의 니즈인 자기의 공간을 가지고 싶어 하는 욕구를 해소시킬수있는 가구디자인입니다. 청년들은 다양한 방식으로 자기의 공간을 만들려하며 간단하게는 카페에 가거나 피크닉을 가며 더 좁게는 후드집업을 쓰며 자기의 차단된 시선을 만듭니다. 이를 이용해 파티션 구조로 의자의 측면을 막아 남의 시선은 막으며 나의 정면 시선은 온전히 유지하며 창문처럼 내 방안에서 밖을 보는 시선의 효과를 나타내어 공간이라 느끼는 요소를 충족시킵니다.
