English	Our idea aims to ease patient burden by integrating the self-medication trend into the current gaps in diabetes diagnosis and management. We've designed a solution—a paper glucometer kit. It's user-friendly: apply saliva, fold, insert, and wait, streamlining measurement and recording. 'Microfluidic Paper' activates glucose oxidase, reacting with hydrogen peroxide to produce poly(DAB), a brown precipitate catalyzed by peroxidase. A colored pH indicator on the pad allows users to gauge blood sugar by changing the paper's color through saliva.
Native	지난 10년 동안 당뇨는 아시아인의 질병 부담률에 있어 부동의 1위를 굳히고 있습니다. 그럼에도 당뇨 관리는 여전히 적절하게 이루어지지 않고 있으며, 전체 당뇨 환자 중 9.7%만이 혈당을 통합 관리하고 있습니다. 이러한 상황에서 저희는 자가치료 트렌드를 활용하여 당뇨 진단 및 관리의 부족한 점을 보완하고, 환자의 부담을 최소화하는 새로운 제품을 고안했습니다. '지류 혈당측정 키트'는 기존의 침습적이고 불편한 혈당 측정 방식을 혁신적으로 개선합니다. 간단한 사용법으로 혈당 측정과 기록을 효과적으로 해결합니다. 용지에 타액을 바르고, 접고, 삽입한 후 기다리면, 측정과 기록이 간편하게 이루어집니다. 'Microfluidic Paper'를 사용하여 포도당 산화효소를 유발시키고, 이 과정에서 생성되는 Poly(DAB)는 혈당 변화를 색상으로 표현하는 데 사용됩니다. 색상 pH 지시약이 패드에 도포되어, 사용자는 용지 색상의 변화를 통해 자신의 혈당을 손쉽게 확인할 수 있습니다. 이 아이디어는 환자들이 혈당 측정과 기록을 편리하게 할 수 있도록 돕고, 국내 당뇨 환자들에게 더 나은 환경을 제공할 수 있도록 기여하길 기대합니다. 당뇨의 부담을 줄이고, 진단 및 관리에 새로운 시각을 제시함으로써 당뇨 환자들에게 혜택을 가져다 줄 것입니다.
