English	The owner was looking for a home where his family could escape Seoul and unwind while enjoying a view of the Bukhangang. the final design was selected because it provided a view of the Bukhangang from every space. The design, with glass on three sides, lacked privacy, but the owner prioritized the openness of the architecture to nature. The design team aimed to give a white, uncluttered space that would enable the owner to clear their mind through the landscape. The space can stand alone, where the architectural lines are pure white, resembling white porcelain, and the landscape is captured through unobstructed transparent glass.
Native	건축주는 가족들과 함께 서울을 떠나 북한강의 풍경을 한눈에 담으며 쉴수 있는 세컨하우스를 요청하였다. 우리는 6개정도의 디자인 안을 제안하였고 건축주는 그 중에 북한강을 어느 공간에서도 눈에 담을 수 있는 디자인 안을 선택하였다. 전체 3면이 유리로 구성되어 프라이버시에는 취약한 구조였지만 건축주는 자연을 바라보는 건축의 열림을 더 중요하게 생각하였다. 우리는 그러한 생각을 가지고 있는 건축주에게 풍경을 통해 마음을 비우는 백(白)으로 이루어진무념(無念)의 공간을 만들어 드리고 싶었다. 백자와 같은 순수한 백색으로 건축의 선을 그리고 막히지 않는 투명한 유리를 통해 풍경을 취하는 공간. 그 것만으로도 충만해지는 공간 말이다. 백색의 돌출된 건축선은 정남향의 해를 막아주는 캐노피의 역할과 더불어 풍경을 담는 프레임의 의미로도 확장된다. 건물 중심의 원형계단은 분절 될 수 밖에 없는 층별 공간을 자연스럽게 유입시키는 기능공간이자 이 건물의 오브제공간이기도 하다.
