| English | Bomundong is a village like a remote island. It is quiet alone in the busy streets. First, The name 'Bomun' is a name made from Bomun Temple and has a Buddhist color. Second, A direct translation of the "bomun" itself can be interpreted as a wide door. Last, the reason why it is warm and warm in this developed city center is because it is located between valleys and is slower to develop than in surrounding areas. Bomun-dong has been selected as a redevelopment complex in the current of the times. In order to leave a beautiful appearance of Bomun-dong, I made the identity of Bomun-dong's three characteristics above. |
| Native | 보문동은 외딴섬같은 동네이다. 주변의 성신여대, 안암, 한성대, 성북동, 대학로와 같은 번화가속에 홀로 조용하다. 보문동은 어떤 동네일까? '보문'은 지명은 보문사로부터 만들어진 지명으로서 불교적 색체를 가지고 있다. '보문' 자체를 직역하면 넓은 문이라고 해석할 수 있다. 또한 이처럼 발달된 도심속에 고즈넉하고 따뜻한 이유는 골짜기사이에 위치해 주변지역에 비해 발달이 더뎠기 때문이다. 보문동은 시대의 흐름속에 재개발 단지로 선정되어, 보문동의 옛모습을 좋아하던 주민들이 안타까워하고 있다. 자신만의 시간을 지닌 보문동의 아름다운 모습을 남기기 위해 위 세가지 특징을 바탕으로 보문동의 아이덴티티를 디자인 하였다. 보문동프로젝트는 지도를 통해 아름다운 동네 보문을 들리는 사람들이 지도를 보며 마을을 탐험할 수 있도록 하였고, 보문동 사집첩은 지도대로 보문동 길목을 다녔을때 볼 수 있는 풍경들을 넣어놓았다. 함께 문을 열고 보문을 보자. |
