English	Many Asian women experience sexism and suffer because of menstruation. DREAM RING is a feminine hygiene product that protects Asian women's dreams. It is a replacement solution for an expensive pad. We have designed a feminine hygiene product that is reusable and disposable to maintain low cost and good sanitation. Dream Ring is made of a silicone ring and hygienic sugarcane vinyl. Because they are eco-friendly and cheap, we can provide the product consistently at a low-cost. Since water is not clean in Asia, washing and reusing product may cause infections. For Dream Ring, women can dispose and replace used part with a new one every time.
Native	아시아의 3억 5천만명, 전세계적으로 6억명이 생리로 인해 성차별을 경험할 뿐 아니라, 인권을 유린당하고 있다. 아시아 일부 나라에서는 생리 기간동안 가축우리에 격리되기도 하며 이로 인해 사망에 이르기까지 한다. 우리나라에서도 한 중학생이 생리대 살 돈이 없어 운동화 깔창을 생리대로 사용한 일이 알려져 충격을 주었다. Dream Ring은 생리로 인해 고통받는 여성들의 꿈을 지켜주는 희망의 솔루션이다. 반영구적으로 사용할 수 있는 실리콘 링 부분과 1회용 사탕수수 위생비닐 부분을 구분하여 가격과 위생 문제를 동시에 해결하였다. 실리콘 링은 최소한의 형태를 유지하여 기능성을 유지하였다. 실리콘 링은 인체에 무해하여 독성 쇼크를 유발하지 않는다. 또한 사이즈를 조정할 수 있어 사이즈별로 따로 구매하지 않아도 된다. 사탕수수 위생비닐은 보통 비닐보다 질긴 강도가 높아 쉽게 찢어지지 않으며 독성이 없어 병원에서 사용하고 있다. 또한 쉽게 교체가 가능하기 때문에 불결한 물로 제품을 씻고 재사용하여 발생할 수 있는 감염으로부터 지켜준다. 소재가 친환경적이고 단가가 낮아 제품을 낮은 가격으로 지속적으로 쉽게 공급할 수 있다. Dream ring은 생리컵의 1/30가격이며, 생리대의 1/20가격으로 아시아뿐 아니라 전세계 여성에게 기회와 희망을 줄 수 있다.
