English	Our inspiration comes from cross-vaulting. The structural functionality of an intersected vault is not only useful for spanning architectural elements, but also to support people. Here, the apron and the legs are combined into a single structural element, the vault. With this vault-structure, we were able to keep the form comparatively slender at the bottom while retaining the capacity to support heavy loads. The stools can be stacked the corners of the tabletop when not use, create the effect of a miniature vaulted corridor when arranged around the sides of the table. Stools can also be arranged alongside one another to create a bench.
Native	'가구'와 '건축'은 부재의 용어와 스케일(크기)의 차이를 제외하면 구축적인 측면에서 상당부분 닮아 있다. 건축에서의 수많은 아이디어, 구조 및 형태들이 가구에 차용될 수 있으며, 미니어처(모형)와 같이 건축이 가구로 재현될 수도 있다. 그 반대의 경우 또한 성립된다. 아치 번들은 중세시대의 건축 양식인 교차 볼트 - 두 개의 원통형 볼트(궁륭)가 직각으로 만나서 생긴 볼트- 에서 영감을 받았다. 아치 번들은 상단부(테이블의 상판 및 스툴의 좌판)를 지지하기 위한 하단부의 구조재, 즉 수평재와 수직재를 일체화시킨 아치 형태의 하부 구조재가 직각으로 교차한 형상을 하고 있다. 이러한 아치 구조는 (일반적인 테이블과 의자들이 갖는 다리들에 비해) 매우 얇은 두께의 부재만으로도 상부의 무거운 하중을 지지할 수 있게 한다. 아치 모양들은 구조적인 튼튼함뿐만 아니라 심미감을 불러 일으킨다. 스툴은 벤치를 만들기 위해 나란히 배치될 수도 있으며, 테이블 옆에 배열할 때는 미니어처 아치형 복도의 효과를 만든다. 또한, 스툴을 사용하지 않을때에는 테이블 위에 올려놓음으로써 가구의 조형미를 좀더 만끽할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 손쉽게 청소를 하거나 이동에 방해를 받지 않는 등의 공간적인 활용도가 높다.
