We approached the design of City Toilet with a less sculptural shape and form of traditional toilets, and to look more like furniture that offers minimal aesthetics and space optimisation solutions, allowing it to blend perfectly into the bathroom architecture. We created a unique internal frame within the furniture-like back unit that integrates a cistern tank and supports a ceramic bowl, with the flush button positioned at the front for a more intuitive and comfortable usage. The frame also leaves space for compartments on both sides to store cleaning and sanitary products, as well as a large top-surface area for daily used items.
