English	SFC, a precision chemical R&D company within Ochang Scientific Industrial Complex, is pursuing a dream factory that represents its brand identity and future visions. Although buildings in industrial complexes tend to maximize the legal volume, SFC aimed to maintain as much open space as possible within the site while providing optimal R&D process. The R&D area, the office area, the public area, and the employee amenity area are all placed along a circulatory path. The development building was later built and connected through a bridge to complete an integrated R&D cluster that induces interaction.
Native	SFC는 정밀 화학소재(OLED)를 연구 개발 생산하는 벤처기업으로 오창 과학산업단지 내 거점을 두고 기업의 정체성과 미래 비전을 담은 드림 팩토리를 추진하고 있다. 산업단지들은 자본 논리의 공동체로서 작용함에 따라 각각의 대지 내에 최대 건폐율과 용적률의 볼륨만을 담아내는 상황이다. 이와 반대로 SFC의 드림 팩토리 대지 내에 오픈 스페이스를 최대한 확보하는 것을 전제로 출발하였다. 대지 내에서 숨을 쉴 수 있는 최대한의 오픈 스페이스를 확보하면서 OLED 결과물을 가장 기능적인 프로세스로 구현할 것을 목표로, 먼저 연구동은 퍼블릭 영역과 연구, 실험 등의 R&D영역을 수직 공간으로 구분하였다. 그리고 R&D영역과, 연구원들의 편의를 제공하는 복지영역 그리고 사무 영역 등이 유기적으로 연계할 수 있는 공간 구조를 가진다. 각각의 영역은 중정을 중심으로 순환 동선 공간구조의 형태를 가진다. 연이어 생산영역을 확장하여 대지 측면에 생산동을 신설, 증축하여 기능을 강화하였다. 이후 연구실험동을 신설, 증축하여 연구원들의 업무 향상을 위해 R&D영역을 확장하고, 기존의 연구동의 리모델링을 통해 퍼블릭 영역을 완전히 분리하고 연결 브리지를 통해 연구동과 연구실험동이 자유로이 넘나들며 관계성을 유도하는 연구, 생산 영역의 통합적인 클러스터를 완성하였다.
