English	This retrospective radio enables users to listen to any radio program from the past to the present.The tuning dial is linked to archived programs stocked on the Internet.it shows how our culture's desire for efficiency can be balanced with the lost values of taking time.The limited nature of radio transmission encourages imagination and communication more than TV or other media that provide more packaged information.It transmit only sounds and words, but for this very reason they engage our imagination and engender a sense of time.This radio, enhanced with IT, allows access to not only history but also our ancestors' life stories and values.
Native	ユーザーはこのレトロなラジオで過去から現在までの、あらゆるラジオ番組を聴くことができる。チューニング・ダイヤルはインターネット上に保存されたラジオアーカイブプログラムにリンクし、時代を行き来する感覚を与える。この革新的なラジオは大量消費社会が求める「効率性」を「時間をかける」ことで、失われた情緒的な感覚との調和を果たす事ができる事を示している。このラジオには昔ならではの三つの特徴、手間をかける楽しみ、確かな感触、そしてエルゴノミックなアナログ操作が備わっている。その外形はダイヤルやアンテナを根気よく動かす初期の無線受信機を思い起こさせる。その昔、ラジオは遠く離れた人々がコミュニケーションを取るという奇跡を実現した。そして2011年の地震と津波の後でも、ラジオは被災者が情報を得るための最も便利なツールとなった。このラジオのレトロな技術は過去の偉業を振りかえるだけでなく、未来の形も提案する。ラジオは音と言葉だけの限られた情報しか送信できないが、それらはテレビやその他のメディア以上に人々の想像力を掻き立て、新たな時間の感覚を生みだすだろう。遥か遠い暮らし、歴史だけでなく私たちの先人達の人生や価値観にも触れる事がこの先の未来に対して提案できる事は大きいだろう。
