English	LVUP.GG is an ‘esports tournament platform’ where gamers endlessly pursue new challenges to reach their goals. To provide solution to difficulties arising from the complexities in esports tournaments hosted by game companies, we built an online esports platform where users can host esports tournaments by themselves. For the design, we sought to visualize that the service allows transition from a complicated structure(3D) to an easy and simple structure(2D) and deduced the overall graphic concept as ‘3D-looking 2D form.’ The graphic concept was applied in the logo and graphic motif and were used in all on- and off-line aspects of the service.
Native	끝없는 목표를 향한 우리들의 도전하는 공간, LVUP.GG는 ‘이스포츠 토너먼트 플랫폼’ 입니다. 우리는 기존의 게임사가 대회를 개최하는 구조가 복잡하고 접근성이 어렵다는 문제를 해결하기 위해 유저가 직접적으로 대회를 개최할 수 있는 플랫폼을 만들었습니다. 기존 게임대회 서비스의 산업 구조가 복잡한 구조(3D)에서 쉽고 단순한 구조(2D)로 간편화 된다는 서비스 구조에서 착안하여 전체적인 그래픽 원리를 ‘3D처럼 보이는 2D 형태’로 도출했습니다. 그래픽 원리는 로고, 그래픽모티브에 적용되어 서비스의 온오프라인에 활용되었습니다. 또한, 우리는 LVUP.GG에 ‘NEXT WINDOW’ 라는 컨셉을 부여했습니다. 이는 게임대회와 유저를 이어주는 또 다른 창, 유저들이 게임 안에서 지속적으로 새로운 목표를 생성해 나가고 ‘LEVEL UP’할 수 할 수 있는 공간을 의미합니다. NEXT WINDOW의 개념은 그래픽 모티브에도 적용 됩니다. LVUP.GG 명칭에서 가져온 각각의 L,V,U,P,G 철자를 조형화하고 브랜드의 각각의 키워드에서 사각형(L), 삼각형(V), 타원(U), 입체(P), 원(G)의 형태를 뽑아내 시각적 변주를 주었습니다. 그리고 이 5가지 형태는 입체의 평면화를 통해서 각각의 컬러와 의미, 서비스 내에서의 역할을 부여하였습니다.
