English	Door locks in everyday life do not fully express design features unique to Korea. This product set out from the idea that if we use Hangeul, Korean alphabet, instead of numbers, people of all ages would be able to use the door locks easily. Hanguel door lock literally is a digital door lock that use Hanguel passwords instead of numbers. Users can set up passwords within five letters. The keypad adopts ‘Cheon-Ji-In’ system so that anyone can easily use. Overall design derives from the features of traditional doorknobs to be in harmony with the Korean style house, Hanok.
Native	우리가 평소 사용하고 있으며 평상 시 볼 수 있는 일반 도어락들은 서양 주거 디자인의 영향을 많이 받아 한국만의 디자인 특성과 기술적인 특징을 살리지 못하였다. 무엇보다 숫자로만 암호를 인식하는 방식에서 탈피하여 우리나라의 유구한 역사와 전통미를 가진 아름다운 한글을 사용한다면 대한민국 남녀노소가 쉽게 사용 할 수 있고 보다 우리나라 주거양식에 맞는 새로운 도어락이 생길 수 있지 않을까? 라는 생각으로 아이디어를 구상하게 되었다. 한글 도어락은 말 그대로 기존에 숫자 방식으로 사용되던 도어락 시스템의 코드를 한글로 변경하여 대문과 현관문을 열 수 있는 디지털 도어락이다. 5글자 이내에서 자신이 원하는 한글로 설정할 수 있다. 도어락 키패드는 천지인 키패드 시스템을 활용하여 누구나 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 인터페이스로 구성하였다. 전체적인 디자인은 과거 우리나라 전통 가옥에서 쓰이던 문고리 특징과 매커니즘을 활용하여 전통 가옥, 한옥, 한국식 주거 양식에 함께 조화를 이룰 수 있도록 제품 디자인을 구성하였다. 제품 윗 부분은 한옥창살의 전통구조를 형상화하여 우리나라 대문과 현관문에 어울릴 수 있도록 디자인하였다
