English	Artisans registered as National Intangible Cultural Heritage are working to maintain and develop traditional culture. However, in Korea, the number of artisan is decreasing due to low awareness and interest in them. 'Jangin-Myeongye-Surok' is a project to visualizes 50 fields of artisan so that people can be interested in the existence and efforts of artisans and remember them. In this project, the icons using Hangeul typograpy made by combining artisan’s names with characters show the name and identity of each artisan. Through this project, people can see what kind of artisans there are, and it is easy to understand what skills they have.
Native	한국의 국가무형문화재로 등재된 ‘장인’들은 전통문화의 유지와 발전을 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 하지만 국내에서는 한국의 전통문화를 아는 사람은 있어도, 그 뒤에 있는 장인의 노력을 아는 사람은 많지 않습니다. 이렇게 낮은 인지도와 관심 때문에 장인의 명맥이 끊길 위기에 있습니다. '장인명예수록'은 사람들이 장인의 존재와 노력에 관심을 가지고 오랫동안 기억할 수 있도록 국가무형문화재 50개의 장인 종목을 시각화한 프로젝트입니다. 장인 종목의 명칭에서 볼 수 있는 한글의 조형적인 특성과 장인 종목의 예술적인 특징을 조합한 타이포그래피를 통해 각 장인 종목을 상징하는 아이콘을 제작하였습니다. 이 아이콘들은 각 장인의 명칭과 정체성을 보여줍니다. 사람들은 어떤 장인이 있는지 알 수 있고, 어떤 기능을 가진 장인인지 쉽게 이해할 수 있습니다. '장인명예수록'은 장인들의 명예로움을 담은 시각적인 언어를 통해 그들의 가치를 전달합니다.
