English	La-cubo is the only commercial facility located in the central park complex. The word La-cubo is an Italian compound word cube which means "a square of some material." This building is planned with the focus on the creation of indoor and outdoor spaces that can attract a lot of view and visitors who can show various backgrounds using the requirements and location conditions of the commercial facilities and the surrounding environment. The various interior and exterior spaces created by the two "ㄷ" shaped simple linear plates staggered from each other show various views while organically connecting the exterior and the interior.
Native	라-꾸보(La-cubo)는 단지 중앙에 위치한 호수공원 부지 내에 유일하게 위치하는 상업시설이다. 호수와 야외무대를 배경으로 워터파크, 천안종합문화예술회관과 마주 보고 있는 상업시설로서는 단지 내 최적의 입지 조건을 갖추고 있다. 하지만 다른 한편으로는 단지 내 대형 시설물 틈바구니에서 자신만의 몸짓을 표현을 하지 않으면 안 된다. 라꾸보(La-cubo)라는 말은 이탈리아 합성어로 입방체(Cube)의 뜻을 가지고 있는데 다른 뜻으로 “어떤 재료를 네모 썰기 한 것”이라는 의미도 지니고 있다. 아마도 건축물의 기이한 형태에서 비롯된 듯하다. 본 건축물은 상업시설이 가지는 요건과 입지 조건, 또 주변 환경을 최대한 이용하여 다양한 배경을 보여줄 수 있는 많은 뷰(VIEW)와 시설이용객들을 많이 집객할 수 있는 실내·외 공간 창출을 중점으로 고려하여 계획하였다. 두 개의 “ㄷ"자 형태의 단순한 선형의 판들이 서로 엇갈리면서 만들어내는 다양한 실내·외 공간들은 외부와 내부를 서로 유기적으로 연결하면서 다양한 뷰(VIEW)를 보여준다. 작은 덩치이지만 향 후 단지 내 중심적 위치로서 색다른 “문화 ICON”이 되기를 기대하고 있다.
