English	MOLT was inspired by the age of Ming dynasty furniture design. MOLT used the idea of anamorphosis in the furniture to express distort perspective. The front angle appearing to be the ancient chair of Chinese emperor’s has a symbol of power, while the ﬂoating armrests represent honour. When the experiencer walks around it, it transforms into a Western rocking chair with two elegant curved bands attached to the bottom of the legs. MOLT is sought to be a formal solution to accomplish the culture and elegant looks of Western art, intending to symbolize the new generation of millennials. MOLT have become more than a chair, but a monumental object.
Native	椅桐崇尚古樸自然，單一材質，沒有華麗的裝飾，只重視核桃木散發的古樸自然的氣息，並增添一種歷史的感覺。在運用材質上充分展⽰原木本⾝和紋理不加遮飾，利用原木紋特有天然別緻，來顯示椅桐的莊重樸實的特色。從木紋中代表著中國傳統文化，而從木頭形體充斥著西方多種文化。胡桃⽊的弦切面有清晰的大拋物線花紋，擁有各種曲線，漩渦與波浪，千變萬化，形成賞心悅⽬目的圖騰。椅桐運用榫卯工法，木材結構方式，將椅腳製作為橫槽連接椅座的榫槽，形成牢固的結構體兼具設計美感。此項⼯藝技術，符合功能需求與力學結構，不僅將家具無縫隙的結合，並毫無察覺的連結兩件⽊材。如此工藝，即牢固⼜美觀耐用。經由不斷的研究打造出屬於它的比例，张弛有度，由兩條帶有不同文化故事組成整體輪廓，椅背橫跨兩側帶領著兩兩種⽂化，有如中方的⼸⼜如西方的鏢，扶手的整體姿態如同彎月精緻美觀。整體框架與線條變化使得中西合，形成直線和曲線的對比與呼應，直與橫的對比，弧與環的呼應。在背板與扶手正中以弓與鏢型曲線，呈現透空，坐靠時可把臂膀倚著扶手恰當好處。背板與扶手根據人體學曲線製成，使椅桐簡潔俐落，純樸⼒量的簡練形式美。背板伴隨後立柱，從高到低一順而下，成為扶手，背板與扶手形成的角度，每個轉⾓的弧度，座椅的高度，多樣組合帶有和諧的比例，構築完美的藝術空間。
