English	Certain colors attract us at certain moments. Scientists have discovered a close affinity between colors and the state of the mind. COLOR AFFINITY transforms emotions into a visual object that is subject to quantitative analyses. The artwork is motivated by the RGB color palettes defined for each emotion type by the psychologist Eva Heller in her book "Psychology of Colour". Each color palette is smeared across a disk according to the heat diffusion equation to generate "harmonic functions". The dynamics and complexity of emotions are visualized by adopting multiple viewpoints - top and side - of the generated 3D harmonic functions.
Native	유독 한가지 색에 끌리던 순간이 있습니다. 이러한 현상은 이유없는 끌림이 아닌 마음의 상태를 반영하는 이유있는 끌림이라고 전물가들은 이야기합니다. 색은 우리 주위 모든곳에 존재하며 우리의 기분, 감정 그래고 행동에 많은 영향을 줍니다. COLOR AFFINITY 는 우리 주위에서 일렁이는 색과 감정의 관계를 시각적 객관화를 탐구합니다. 색은 숫자로 표현 가능한 객관적인 데이터 이지만 동시에 보는 사람의 심리 상태에 따라 해석이 달라지는 특수한 성질을 지니기 때문에 보다 객관적인 관찰을 위하여 모티브가 된 'Harmonic analysis' 의 그래프 코딩에 심리학자 에바 헬러가 정의한 감정에 따라 변화하는 배색의 수치를 대입하여 그린 그래픽은 보다 객관적인 색의 모습을 보여줍니다. 그래픽의 윗면과 측면을 모두 포스터에 보여주서 입체적인 감정의 형태를 볼 수 있습니다. 로고는 그래픽의 윗면과 측면의 기본형으로 디자인하였습니다.
