Chansol Korean Medicine Brand Identity Design

English	We discovered the characteristics of the vertical lines in the books of Korean traditional medicine, and defined a graphic motif using vertical lines. The defined vertical line graphic is the criteria for dividing the layout of various elements used in hospitals while maintaining the hospital's oriental identity with its shape itself. In addition, the graphic that shows various oriental therapies as one icon is expressed in the form of a pictogram that is easy for patients to see. In this project, we wanted to create an image that shows traditional Korean medicine in a modern way.
Native	찬솔한방병원은 한국 전통 의학 병원이며, 우리는 병원의 전반적인 브랜드 아이덴티티 디자인을 진행했다. 우리는 한의학의 전통적인 특징과 동양의학의 정체성을 파악하고 현대적으로 재해석하기 위해 한국 전통 의학의 고서를 조사했다. 우리는 그 전통 고서에서 수직 형태의 레이아웃과 세로 선이 두드러진다는 형태적 특징을 발견했고 세로 선을 활용한 그래픽 모티브를 정의했다. 정의된 찬솔한방병원의 세로선 그래픽은 병원에서 사용되는 다양한 요소의 레이아웃을 나누는 기준을 잡아주면서 그 형태 자체만으로 병원의 동양적인 아이덴티티를 나타낸다. 또한 다양한 동양 치료요법을 하나의 아이콘으로 나타낸 그래픽은 환자들이 보기 쉬운 픽토그램 형태로 표현하는 동시에 한국의 단청 디자인을 적용하여 한방병원의 전통적인 이미지를 표현하였다. 이 아이콘들은 단일로 활용하여 환자들에게 치료요법을 시각적으로 이해할 수 있도록 돕고, 각각의 아이콘들이 모인 패턴은 병원의 동양적인 이미지를 나타내는 또 다른 그래픽 정체성이 된다. 우리는 이 프로젝트에서 한국 전통 의학이 현대적인 이미지로 보일 수 있도록 새로운 브랜드 이미지를 만들고자 했으며, 병원을 방문하는 환자들이 보다 최신의 한방병원의 경험을 느낄 수 있도록 하였다.
