English	[Product] When users are exposed to presbyopia when using the sewing machine, they experience the inconvenience of not being able to see the workspace well. This inconvenience causes many users to give up sewing machines as they get older.The "Cheol-SEW" is an sewing machine with display monitor that is easy to use even with the presbyopia. “Cheol-SEW” increases usability by magnifying the working area with small, invisible needles into the camera and displaying them on the monitor. In addition, the automatic threader is built in, which solves the difficulty of inserting thread.
Native	[배경] 고령화 사회에서 노인층의 (다른 연령층에 비해)상대적으로 긴 여가 시간의 활용문제가 생겨나고 있습니다. 특별히 하는 일 없이 무료하게 시간을 보내게 되면 노인들은 고독, 소외, 만성적 무료함, 인생에 대한 불행감을 느끼게 됩니다. 따라서 저는 노인의 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 노인의 여가 생활용품을 디자인하기로 했습니다. [제품 설명] 사용자가 재봉틀을 이용할 때 노안이 오면, 작업영역이 잘 보이지 않는 불편함을 겪게 됩니다. 이런 불편함으로 많은 사용자들이 나이가 들면 재봉틀을 포기하게 됩니다. “철SEW”는 노안이 와도 사용하기 쉬운 디스플레이 재봉틀입니다. 철SEW는 작아서 잘 보이지 않는 바늘을 포함한 작업 영역을 카메라로 확대해 모니터에 표시함으로써 사용성을 높입니다. 뿐만 아니라 자동 실 끼우개가 내장돼있어 실을 끼우는 어려움 또한 해결해줍니다. [제품명] BI ‘철SEW’는 한국에서 친숙한 이름인 ‘철수’로 발음됩니다. 이것은 사용자가 늙어서도 함께하는 친구같이, 취미생활로 계속된다는 의미를 담고 있습니다. 뿐만 아니라 ‘철’과 ‘SEW’는 제품의 몸체부의 재질인 철 소재와 Sewing machine (재봉틀)을 연상시킵니다.
