English	The Chronicles of Steel hall is a gigantic circular theater with a diameter of 18m and a height of 10m. The film tells the story of iron since its beginning, its discovery and how it helped us flourish into great civilizations. With 8 minutes of interactive experience, the audience get immersed into the history of human civilization that flourished with steel. GIANTSTEP has developed high-resolution graphics of more than 10K with our own solutions, where real-time iron properties and materials change. Through this process, it was implemented as a media art experience center where the entire space becomes an art piece.
Native	본 프로젝트는 홍보관에서 처음으로 마주하는 철의 문명관으로 ‘물, 불, 바람, 흙 그리고 인간이 만드는 인류 문명의 꽃, 철’이라는 테마로 만들어진 콘텐츠입니다. 인류 문명 시작에는 철이 있었고, 태초의 자연과 철이 만나 지금의 문명이 있음을 전달하는 것이 메인 구성입니다. 총 8분의 인터랙티브 체험이 혼합되었으며, 4가지의 세부 스토리텔링으로 연출하였습니다. 철강기업의 이미지를 아트적으로 표현하기 위해 철의 속성 변화 과정이 실시간 그래픽으로 반영되도록 제작하였습니다. 10K 이상의 고해상도 그래픽을 리얼타임으로 구현하는 제작 기술 R&D와 솔루션 개발을 통해 체험 공간 자체가 아트 피스가 되는 미디어아트 체험관을 구현하였습니다. 기업의 상징성 극대화를 위해 태초의 철광석을 모티브로 LED 미디어 타워를 제작하였고, 몰입감을 높여주는 영상관 대표 모뉴먼트로 자리매김하였습니다. 철을 녹이는 데 필요한 에너지원을 인류(관람객)에게 얻음으로써 연결되는 것을 실시간 반응하며 생성되는 파티클로 표현하였습니다. ‘철의 문명관’은 포스코 홍보관을 찾는 다수 관람객에게 영상을 매개로 공간 전체가 디자인된 연출 프로젝트로 회자 되었으며, 영상관 관람 이후 기업의 이미지에 느낌표를 새긴 듯 그들의 무한한 가능성을 상기시켜주는 공간이 되고 있습니다.
