English	The surge in electric vehicles, while positive for carbon neutrality, introduces a significant environmental concern: the increase in waste batteries, projected to reach 42,092 by 2026. South Korea lacks clear disposal standards, hindering recycling and discouraging corporate entry into the waste battery market. In contrast, Europe's successful recycling of 100,000 tons in 2019 out of 205,000 tons provides a model. The imperative now is to establish clear performance criteria, visually communicated through posters and infographics, to encourage active corporate participation in the waste battery market.
Native	요즘 우리는 전기차의 급격한 증가가 탄소 중립을 향한 긍정적인 징후로 받아들이기 쉽습니다. 그러나 이에는 새로운 환경 문제가 도래하고 있습니다. 바로 폐배터리 문제입니다. 전기차의 보급이 늘어남에 따라 폐배터리의 양도 증가하고 있습니다. 2024년에는 1만 3826개, 2026년에는 4만2092개로 급증할 것으로 예상됩니다. 현재 대한민국에서는 폐배터리를 적절히 처리하는 방법에 대한 명확한 기준이 부재하고 있습니다. 환경부에 따르면 많은 폐배터리가 쌓여 있지만 재활용이나 재사용이 거의 이뤄지지 않고 있습니다. 이러한 상황에서 기업들은 폐배터리 관련 시장에 진입하는 데 주저하고 있습니다. 유럽에서는 이미 이러한 문제에 대한 명확한 대응책을 찾아냈습니다. 2019년에는 205,000톤의 휴대용 배터리가 시장에 도입되었고, 이 중 약 100,000톤이 재활용으로 처리되었습니다. 이러한 사례를 참고하여 명확한 성능 평가 기준을 마련해야 합니다. 이를 마련하기 위한 자료를 포스터와 편집물을 통한 인포그래픽으로 설명합니다. 이를 통해 우리는 폐배터리에 대한 "재사용"과 "재활용"의 선택을 더 명확하게 할 수 있을 것입니다. 더 나아가, 이는 기업들이 더 적극적으로 폐배터리 관련 시장에 참여할 수 있도록 도울 것입니다.
