English	NOGAPOT is the new type of wax warmer, designed to improve the way of using conventional wax warmers. We reversed the structural stereotype by rearranging its elements to make a safe heat mass that can store the extreme temperature inside. Heat is transferred only through the bottom of the flexible silicone dish. Efficiently divided waxes now can be melted safely and changed casually. Its shape is representing the aesthetic sense of Korean culture, to provide a serene atmosphere. The design method was simply to watch how people use the wax warmers, pain points led us the way to the solution. This design is based on observation.
Native	기존의 캔들워머를 사용하며 필연적으로 반복되는 지저분함과 낭비, 위험을 개선하는 제품이다. 이전의 제품에서 노출된 할로겐전구는 150도까지 뜨거워진다. 그 아래 뜨거워진 유리병은 깨질 위험이 있어 사람과 동물 모두에게 위험했으며 향료가 증발한 왁스를 부어내는 일도 쉽지 않았다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 우리는 개념을 뒤집어 접근했다. 기존의 구조를 거꾸로 구성해 위험한 전구를 내부로 숨기고 열을 가두었다. 빛과 열을 투과하는 실리콘 그릇은 캔들 왁스를 녹이기에 적절한 열을 그릇 내부로만 방출한다. 작게 나누어진 큐브형태의 캔들을 짧은 시간 동안 사용하며 효율적으로 향료를 증발시킨다. 다 사용한 캔들은 굳은 상태로 실리콘 그릇을 비틀어 간단히 분리해 버릴 수 있다. 양 조절이 쉬워 언제나 깔끔한 사용이 가능하며 향기 교체가 간편하다. 적은 비용으로 다양한 향기를 시도하거나 직접 섞어 조향을 할 수 있게 되었다. 평온하고 단아한 분위기의 빛과 향을 통해 한국적인 정서를 표현한다. 이 디자인 과정은 관찰에 기반한 작업이다. 기존 제품 사용자들의 불편을 이해하는 것에서 해결책을 찾을 수 있었다.
