English	This series incorporates animal-like characters, which are beloved by children, and warm, soothing colors to create a comforting atmosphere. The use of rounded fonts enhances readability, and we've chosen thick paper to prevent wear and tear and ensure its durability for children. All content was meticulously crafted under the supervision of the Korean Child Neurology Society(KCNS). These children's books have been made accessible for free distribution to 2,500 neurology clinics across the nation and include e-books and audiobooks narrated by professional voice actors, which are available on the website of the KCNS.
Native	뇌전증은 뇌졸중과 치매 다음으로 환자가 많은 신경계 질환으로 대한민국에서만 대략 30~40만 명 정도로 추정되고 있습니다. 특히 20세 이전에 발병하는 경우가 전체 환자의 3분의4를 차지하는데 이중 출생 후 4세까지가 약 30%에 해당할 정도로 소아기 뇌전증의 발병률이 매우 높습니다. 그러나 뇌전증에 대한 지식의 부족과 잘못된 인식으로 완치까지 기대할 수 있음에도 70~80%에 해당하는 환자들이 치료를 받지 않습니다. 따라서 뇌전증을 처음 경험하는 아이들과 부모님에게 정확한 지식을 전달함으로써 질환에 대한 두려움을 줄이고 치료를 권장하는 것을 목표로 하였습니다. 폴라와 번개공룡 시리즈는 아이들이 선호하는 동물형 캐릭터와 불안감을 줄여줄 따뜻한 색감으로 제작되어 포근한 느낌을 받도록 하였습니다. 가독성과 분위기를 고려해 끝이 둥근 폰트를 사용하였고 아이들이 다치지 않도록 두꺼운 종이로 제작하였습니다. 또한 대한소아신경학회의 감수를 받아 모든 내용을 제작하였습니다. 동화책은 2500곳의 전국 신경과 병의원에 무료로 배포되었으며 높은 관심에 힘입어 2판 인쇄까지 진행되었습니다. e-Book과 전문 성우가 녹음한 오디오북을 함께 제작하여 대한소아신경학회 사이트에도 게재되었습니다.
