Existing braille keyboards for the visually impaired were heavy and expensive, making them uncomfortable to use. However, the T-Dot is a product that innovatively improves upon all these weaknesses at once. This product features an excellent portability in light weight(59g) and hand grip size by modifying the Perkins-type structure common to the Braille keyboard for the blind into a T-fold structure, resulting in reduction of the width by about half, weight by about 1/10th and the price by about 1/10th. Made with 12 input keys and 1 jog wheel, it dedicated to boosting the navigating function allows users type faster and more conveniently.

기존 시각장애인 점자 키보드는 무겁고 가격이 비싸 사용하기 매우 불편하였다. 하지만 Tdot은 그러한 단점을 한 번에 혁신적으로 개선한 제품이다. 기존 시각장애인용 점자 키보드가 가진 퍼킨스식형 구조를 T자 접이식 구조형으로 개선하여 폭을 약 1/2로 무게를 약 1/10로, 가격을 약 1/10 줄여서 한 손에 들어오는 최소형의 가벼운 구조(59g)로 개선하였다. 단순히 점자를 입력, 송출하는 것이 아니라 12개의 입력키와 1개의 JOG(방향) 키로 내비게이팅의 기능을 강화하여 기존 키보드보다 빠르고 편리하게 입력이 가능할 뿐 아니라 앱의 접근성을 향상할 수 있다. 또한, 블루투스 기능을 토대로 언제 어디서나 사용할 수 있다.
