In this contemporary society that is consumed with busy work and lifestyle, there is a need for rest and refuge. There is a need for times of rest, such as enjoying a warm cup of tea that marks a pause in a busy day, for people to go through their daily routines. Dado not only refers to the act of drinking tea, but encompasses the holistic practice of tasting and appreciating tea, which allows people to organize their thoughts with leisure. Situation and atmosphere determines our behavior and actions. As people find tranquility from the quiet meditative atmosphere of hanok, we strive exude a similar sense through this hanok-shaped tea table.

공간은 행동을 결정한다. 바쁜 일상으로 과열된 현대 사회에서 우리는 잠시 쉬어갈 시간을 가질 필요가 있다. 차를 마시며 잠깐의 여유를 즐기며 하루에 잠시 쉼표를 찍어, 다시 부지런한 일상으로 돌아가기 위한 도움닫기가 되는 시간이 필요하다. 다도란 단순히 차를 마시는 것에 그치지 않고, 차를 마시는 즐거움과 천천히 맛을 음미하고 생각을 정리할 수 있는 여유를 함께 제공하지 않고서는 의미가 없다. 우리의 태도와 행동을 결정하는 것은 그 상황의 분위기이다. 고즈넉한 한옥에서 사람들이 차분해지고 조용히 명상에 빠지듯이, 차를 받치는 한옥 구조의 티 테이블을 통해서 이러한 한옥의 분위기를 제공하고자 한다.
