English | The project is designed with the concept of providing a charging experience that embraces nature, focusing on the core value of sustainability in EV charging stations. By using eco-friendly wood that contribute to building a low carbon society, the station aims to convey a nature-friendly atmosphere. The exposed frame design connects the space with the surrounding landscapes as one can see through the structure. Our goal was to create a space where people can feel a sense of environmental conservation and experience psychological tranquility derived from nature, alongside practicing lower carbon activity - driving electric vehicles. |
Native | WATER EV Charging Station은 충전소의 핵심 가치를 지속 가능성에 두고 자연 속에서 마주하는 충전 경험을 컨셉으로 디자인하였습니다. 저탄소 사회 구축에 기여할 수 있는 목재를 사용하여 자연 친화적인 느낌을 전달하고자 하였고 프레임 노출형 디자인은 주변의 풍경을 관통하여 공간을 연결시켜줍니다. 우리는 환경 보호 실천과 더불어 자연에서 오는 심리적인 안정감을 느낄 수 있는 공간 구축을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 이 캐노피는 프레임 구조만으로도 지붕의 무게를 충분히 지탱할 수 있도록 아치형 디자인을 적용했습니다. 아치 모양으로 밴딩한 집성목 뼈대를 그대로 노출시켜 구조적인 아름다움을 전달하면서 전고가 높은 차량의 통행이 쉽도록 공간을 확보하였습니다. 지붕을 덮고 있는 패널은 투명한 폴리카보네이트 소재를 활용하여 지붕 밑에서도 하늘을 볼 수 있고 높은 강도와 내열성을 갖고 있어 기후의 변화를 잘 견뎌줍니다. 지붕에는 WATER의 메인 컬러인 파란색을 적용하여 브랜드 정체성을 적극적으로 노출시키고 시인성을 높였습니다. |
