English	Dotel is a co-working space in New Taipei city, which was an idle dyeing-and-weaving factory. To sustain old contexts of its locality, and adapt to today’s multicultural communities scattered around the city, this dilapidated building transformed into a modern workplace habitat for broad new ventures. The exterior remains its textured heritage, resonant with the productive old days; whereas the interior is holistically revamped into a public place of uniform and creative layout providing a well-unitized open space for an unknown assemblage of lessees and space users, including multifunctional areas: offices, coffee station, life house...etc.
Native	「DOTEL」共享辦公空間，基地位於板橋區南北向主要幹道三民路上，鄰近活絡的商業區，現址為一間經營50餘年、RC造四層樓的染織工廠，期待以城市文化為根基出發，連結人與人、新與舊，營造出擁有在地性格的新創產業聚落。 一般辦公空間經常採用均質、等距的座位配置，本案設計上透過「散布的群落」的概念模糊工作與生活的交界、將「外來的承租者」轉化後視為「空間的擁有者」，藉由群落間有機的內部街道和角落空間，讓類型相近的產業相聚彼此激盪；將巨型空間碎化，產生不同尺度的領域感，創造出有趣的交流空間，進而產生與其他人合作的可能性，增進不同領域的工作者不期而遇。 材質上以木色及黑色為基調，不變更既有立面，最大限度地保有舊廠房的味道。平面上將原始無隔間的工廠生產線空間重新分區，劃出工作區、展演區、咖啡區、生活區等主要的活動區域。開放式工作區的平面配置不跟隨既有的結構模矩，以激盪創意的白板牆為核心，輻射出大小不一的包廂和座位，在型態各有特色的討論交流空間中留下舒適有個性的角落。展演區鄰近道路側，只擺設活動家具，在此可舉辦講座、小型演唱會等彈性使用。咖啡區設有高低不同的座席，成為工作團隊與在地居民交流生活經驗的大客廳，提供新創產業團隊和個人接案工作者們各自獨特的領域感。
