nabos Modernly reinterpreted Soban series

English	nabos is a project reinterprets Soban(Traditional Korean Table) into a casual product. The goal of the project is to create a Korean but unfamiliar aesthetic by compounding classic image of Soban and casual image of plastic and enabling people to experience traditional products in real life. Hojokban, Najuban, and Gangwonban are reinterpreted as products of three different sizes, and each Soban is designed to be assembled and disassembled using an appropriate structure. We hope that nabos will approach you as a fresh way to consume tradition.
Native	nabos는 한국의 전통기물인 소반을 캐주얼한 제품으로 재해석한 소반시리즈입니다. 소반의 원래 형태를 유지하며 플라스틱의 캐주얼한 이미지를 이식해 한국적이지만 낯선 미감을 조성하는 것과 전통적인 제품을 실생활에서 경험할 수 있도록 하는것이 프로젝트의 목표입니다. 호족반, 나주반, 강원반을 세 가지의 크기가 다른 제품으로 재해석했으며, 기존의 소반의 고정적인 사용모습과는 달리 소반마다 적절한 구조를 활용해 조립과 분해가 가능하게 설계되었습니다. 또, 기존의 나무 대신 저렴하면서 가볍고 내구성이 강한 플라스틱을 사용하여 현대의 다양한 환경에서 사용할 수 있도록 하였습니다.바라보고 감상하는 전통이 아닌 실생활에서 지속적으로 마주하고 사용할 수 있는 전통의 새로운 소비방식을 제안합니다. nabos가 전통을 소비하는 신선한 방법으로 다가가길 바랍니다.
