In modern society, rural areas are aging and old houses are increasing. Mold problems account for more than 40 percent of the causes of old houses in rural areas. This has a great bad effect on the elderly who are residents. Aircare was designed to solve their problems. Aircare is a new air-cleaning, dehumidifying and fungal product to solve problems such as stench problems caused by mold, respiratory problems, etc. Aircare not only prevents molds by dehumidifying the moisture in the bathroom, but also prevents falls due to sliding in the bathroom.

현대사회, 농촌 고령화가 진행되고 노후주택이 늘어나고 있다. 농촌 노인가구 주택노후도 원인 중 곰팡이 문제가 40%이상을 차지하고 있는데 이는 거주민인 고령자들에게 큰 악형향을 끼치는데 이들의 문제를 해결하기 위해 'AIRCARE'를 디자인하게 되었다. 'AIRCARE'는 곰팡이로 인해 발생하는 악취문제, 호흡기 문제 등과 같은 문제를 해결하기 위한 새로운 공기청정, 제습 및 곰팡이 살균 제품이다. 'AIRCARE'는 욕실 내의 습기를 제습기능을 통해 잡아주어 곰팡이를 예방할 뿐만 아니라 욕실 내 미끄럼으로 인한 낙상사고를 방지해 준다. 습기를 잡아 생겨난 물은 제품 하단의 물빠짐 선을 통해 배출된다. 또한 UV LED를 탈착하여 벽면에 분포해 있는 곰팡이를 제거해준다. 에어케어의 작동 인터페이스는 노후된 주택에 살고 있는 고령자인 사용자를 고려해 직관적이게 디자인하였다.
