English	The building was built over 60 years ago, it was in a poor condition, empty and neglected. The name of this project reason is there are always two concepts and styles to be combined. The designer wanted to create a modern interior style that the functions his needs for now, but also wanted to keep the beautiful history of the building. The materials provide natural textures with the aged atmosphere. In the studio area is the pine plywood surfaces, the concrete polished floor become the main features here, adds some modern vibes into the space. The whole space shows the co-operation and cohesion between different materials, old and new.
Native	尋覓理想中的工作室基地時，發現這棟潛藏於住宅巷弄中的60年老宅，低調安靜地坐落於轉角處，並有著都市中難得的庭院綠地。他希望將生活及工作空間合併，以便在工作之餘就近照顧家人的生活起居，也利朋友們的來訪或客戶的諮詢洽訪，於是在整體規劃上簡單區分上下層公領域及私領域。汲取本體採光充足的優點，在進門後便是相連的客廳及工作空間，擺放其中的工作桌恰好地沐浴全日的日光，整體氛圍力求開闊明亮、簡單俐落；而私人空間相同的以寬敞舒適為重點，拓開大部分隔間以求機能合併卻依然擁有單純簡約的空間本質。為配合設計上簡單卻力求質感的原則，木材表面一律以水性漆處理以保留最初之材質性格，並大量使用松木合板展現自然風格態度，在櫃體上之把手則是極盡內崁之隱藏，讓櫃體與牆面形成一平順的面。正是透過這些細微的處理，在"少"的空間中仍能感受到細節的"多"。保留原本老宅的存在痕跡與設計中所表達之細膩本質，在整體設計中與其相輔相成，最後呈現簡約卻留有歲月靜謐的空間氛圍。從院落到進入室內整體風格色調和諧的達成統一，設計的新與老屋的舊悄悄融合，使建築整體內外皆體現出忠於樸實卻質感的曖曖內唅光。
