Korea has had a custom "Break Bureom". This is the unique custom in the fifteenth of lunar January, where all family bite hard nuts to prevent various boils and to wish for health. But, with less time spent with family in modern times, this custom is also disappearing. So we created a modern design of Bureom package for the whole family to enjoy together. This package intrigues the user by presenting the full moon as each of the four cases is taken out. Each case pattern was designed as a motif to broken nut. The contents of the package are nut-shaped cookies that contain healthy chest nuts, walnuts, pine nuts, and ginko nuts powder.

예로부터 한국의 세시풍속 중에는 ‘부럼 깨기’가 있습니다. 이는 정월 대보름날 이른 아침에 한 해 동안의 각종 부스럼을 예방하고 건강을 비는 뜻으로 가족구성원 다 같이 날밤·호두·은행·잣 등 딱딱한 견과류를 어금니로 깨무는 한국 고유의 관습입니다. 하지만 현대에 와서는 가족과 함께하는 시간이 줄어들면서, ‘부럼 깨기’ 풍속 또한 사라지고 있습니다. 따라서 가족이 다 함께 즐길 수 있도록 현대적으로 디자인된 ‘부럼 깨기’ 패키지를 만들게 되었습니다. 패키지 디자인은 네 개의 케이스를 꺼낼 때마다 보름달이 차오르는 모습으로 표현하여 사용자에게 흥미를 불러일으킵니다. 각각의 케이스 패턴은 깨진 견과류의 모습을 모티브로 디자인했습니다. 패키지의 내용물은 몸에 좋은 밤, 호두, 잣, 은행 파우더로 만든 딱딱한 견과류 모양의 과자로 제작하여, ‘부럼 깨기’ 풍속을 친근하고 간편하게 즐길 수 있도록 했습니다.
