English	TAKIVIVA, with accommodation, offers an outdoor meeting space with open fire. Taking advantage of its potential, the space aims to trigger honest communication which is hoped to lead to innovation at an organizational level. A 33-year-old sanatorium was renovated to revive a visitor’s sense of beauty .The theme of fire is prevalent throughout the facility to promote communication. Also, the low ceilings and warm light invite you to meditate on the day’s activities. As such, the right balance of action and stillness is respected for brand new ideas to generate and deepen.The power of fire igniting human potential.
Native	TAKIVIVAは、焚火を活用して組織のイノベーションを起こすことを目的とした、独創的な宿泊型ミーティング施設である。本質的でリアルなコミュニケーションの重要さが見直される時代において、人と人との出会いから生まれる発見や未来への可能性を創出する場となる。TAKIVIVAは都市の会議室とは異なり、火を囲み、プリミティブな状態で語り合う施設である。都市と自然が持つ機能を上手く融合させた空間で、人々の創造的な心理状態を作り出す。 建物は、浅間山の麓にある築３３年のコンクリート造の保養所を大型リノベーションした。建築、インテリア、デザイン、アートの４つの要素を融合することで、訪れる人々の意識を再興するような美しい空間を目指した。都会的なコンクリート造の建築フォルムの中には、薪にも使われる、温かみを感じるオーク材の家具を入れた。手元に近い空間ほど温かみを感じ、建築空間に近づくごとに鎮静化されるように設計され、温度感をコントロールするデザインになっている。 施設内の様々な場所には、火を用いてお互いの関係性をつくるポイントを配置し、眠る場所は、天井を低くしたり、照明を暗くすることによって内省しやすい空間になっている。動と静が複合的に点在する空間によって、普段では生まれにくいアイデアが生まれ、それらを深めることができる。家具は、屋外でも使える、持ち運びできる、みんなで座れる、組み合わせを変えられるなど、様々な立場の人たちが集い、コミュニケーションが活発になるような仕掛けを散りばめた。
