NCSOFT was reborn as NC. This represents the future of NC, which is expanding its business not only in games but also in various areas such as entertainment and sports. The design with a 45 degree cut on the edge means NC's craftsmanship, which aims to develop a masterpiece. In the bold typeface, you can also feel NC's passion, which does not hesitate to innovate and try. And, The seamlessly connected N and C signify NC’s ultimate goal of creating a new world united in joy. What's different from existing companies is that NC's new CI is flexible. Flexibly project desired images from a line that does not distort the shape of the CI.

엔씨소프트는 소프트를 떼고 ‘엔씨’로 재탄생했다. 이는 게임뿐 아니라 엔터테인트먼트, 스포츠 등 다양한 영역으로 사업을 확장해나가는 엔씨의 미래를 나타낸다. 활자 모서리를 45도로 날카롭게 커팅한 디자인은 최첨단의 기술력을 바탕으로 마스터피스 개발을 목표로 하는 엔씨의 진지한 장인정신을 의미한다. 또한 볼드한 디자인에서는 언제나 새로운 혁신과 대담한 시도를 주저하지 않는 엔씨의 열정과 도전정신을 느낄 수 있다. N과 C가 이음매 없이 서로 연결된 형태는 새로운 세계로의 ‘연결’이라는 가치를 담고 있다. 엔씨의 신규 CI는 Flexible 하게 활용이 가능하다. CI의 형태를 왜곡하지 않는 선에서 틀에 갇히지 않고 유연하게 넘나들거나 원하는 이미지를 투영할 수 있다. 게임 IP의 이미지를 CI에 적용하여 콘텐츠를 보여주는 Window 타입으로도 활용할 수 있게끔 제작했다. CI 자체만으로는 다양한 외부접점에서 활용되기에 한계가 있기에 사용성의 확장을 위해 그래픽모티브를 고안하였다. 이는 CI의 ‘커팅 엣지’ 디자인요소를 포함하고 있고, 더욱 유연한 활용이 가능하다. 누구나 원하는 형태와 비율로 늘리거나 줄일 수 있고 패턴, 이미지의 프레임, 레이아웃 등 모든 종류의 디자인영역에 활용하여 일관된 브랜드 아이덴티티를 연출할 수 있다.
