Lighting, which is often called ‘the flower of interior decoration’, is a critical factor that determines the atmosphere of a space. A coastal lighthouse is a vertical structure built on a horizontal coastline that sometimes becomes a landmark, and also plays the role of guiding the night sailing of ships with radiant light. Phare expresses this image of a lighthouse brightening up the night journey through the shape expressing the directionality of the lighthouse’s beam and the internal processing that reflects the radiant light.

‘인테리어의 꽃’이라고도 불리는 조명은 공간의 분위기를 좌우하는 매우 중요한 요소다. 해안가의 등대는 수평적인 해안선에 세워진 수직적 건축물로 랜드마크가 되기도 하고, 찬란한 불빛으로 선박의 야간 항행에서 길잡이의 역할도 한다. Phare는 등대의 빛이 가진 방향성을 표현하는 조형과, 찬란한 빛을 반사하는 내부 처리를 통하여 밤길을 밝혀주는 등대의 이미지를 우리가 사는 생활 공간 안에 배치시킬 수 있도록 조명의 형태로 풀어내 보았다. 필요에 따라 조명 위에 얹어지는 갓의 방향을 바꾸어 주면서 다양한 모습으로 공간 안에 빛을 연출할 수 있다.
