The Tanigawa mountain range is a mountain with an altitude of 1977m that rises on the border between Gunma and Niigata prefectures and is one of the "100 Famous Mountains of Japan". As one of the PR of the natural water "From AQUA" that collects the water from the Tanigawa mountain range, we have opened a relaxing space inside the Jomokogen Station yard where you can spend a little waiting time. Based on a field survey conducted in Ichinokurazawa of the Tanigawa mountain range, the rocks and flora and fauna that resemble the Tanigawa mountain range are reproduced.

谷川連峰は群馬県利根郡みなかみ町月夜野にあるJR上毛高原駅からも近い、群馬・新潟県境にそびえる標高1977mの山であり、「日本百名山」のひとつです。谷川連峰から湧き出た水を採取した天然水「From AQUA」のPRの一つとして、上毛高原駅構内に新幹線利用者や沿線住民がちょっとした待ち時間などを過ごしていただける憩いのスペースを開設しました。谷川連峰の一ノ倉沢で行った実際の現地調査をもとに、谷川連峰をイメージした岩や動植物を駅構内の空間に再現しています。そのまま谷川岳の一部を持ってきたかのような自然味溢れる空間を目指したディレクションは室内なのにも関わらずどこか涼しさを感じるものとなっています。
