The number of elderly living alone in the world continues to increase. Elderly people living alone are vulnerable to health care, and after a long time they are often found as dead. To solve these problems, POT-PURIFIER is an IOT home appliances that checks the usage of POT-PURIFIER and manages its health through daily food and beverage activities. This product, which is a combination of electric pot and purifier, is notified by smart phone when it is used for various purposes such as water usage ,heating, tea, coffee, and etc. Therefore, the guardian can check the survival of elderly living alone and the situation of health care.

세계적으로 가족과 떨어져서 사는 독거노인 수가 계속해서 증가하고 있다. 혼자 사는 노인 일수록 건강관리가 취약하며, 오랜시간이 지난 후에 종종 고독사로 발견되기도 한다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 POT-PURIFIER는 일상생활 속의 식음료 활동을 통해 POT-PURIFIER의 사용 알림 체크 및 건강관리를 해주는 IOT 홈 가전제품이다. 정수기와 전기포트가 합쳐진 형태의 이 제품은 물 가열, 차, 커피 등 물과 함께 다양한 용도로 쓰이는 커피포트를 들면 보호자의 스마트 폰으로 알림이 간다. 알림 외에도 물 사용량, 횟수, 사용용도에 대한 방법을 알려주고, 건강한 식음료 환경을 제공한다. 따라서 보호자는 독거노인의 생존여부와 건강관리의 상황을 살필 수 있다.
