Bricks have been frequently used from a long time ago, and their time trace is left untouched. It is one of the leading construction materials that do not change. As for the concept of this design, one large standardized mass was cut out first, and we filled the empty space with another meaning to complete another mass. It was cut out in the “L” form first and then combined with another “L” space. The repetition of “L” space was defined as the basic framework of both internal and external spatial composition. In the end, the present figure after years of hardships is the “space of life” itself, not the rebirth of another solidified space.

벽돌은 오래 전부터 자주 사용되어 왔고 세월의 흔적을 고스란히 담고 있기도 하고 변하지 않는 주된 건축재료 중 하나이다. 시작은 하나의 정형화된 매스가 크게 잘려 나가고 다시 그 장소는 다른 의미로 공간으로 채워나가고 보완되며 다시 하나의 매스처럼 재 완성하는 것을 디자인의 개념으로 잡았다. 이로 인해 처음 잘려 나간 모습의 “L” 형태는 또 다른 “L”공간이 와서 결합하고 이러한 공간 “L” 의 반복은 실외뿐만 아니라 실내의 공간구성의 기본 틀로 정하였다 결국 한 평생. 모진풍파를 극복한 현재의 모습은 다시 하나의 단단해 져 있는 공간으로 재 탄생이 아닌 인생 그 자체의 “삶의 공간”인 것이다
