This project brings out the appearance of the landscape using the exquisite selection of the building materials. The installment of the iron pieces divides and enriches the visual extension, from stone to marble, from black iron to titanium plating, and from veneer to wooden table; it is like changing the lense and the focus depth of a beautiful landscape. Therefore, to relieve the visual pressure caused by the colors of the existing building materials selection, in this project, we selected a distinctive French furniture to make a perfect balance of Western and Orientals, the heavy and the light.

山水的意象一直以來都是東方人審美觀照的對象，它代表著心靈感知及藝術素養，也是平撫心靈的體現。所以為了減少現有建材色系所造成的視覺壓力，這次挑選了性個鮮明的法式傢具，讓人在空間中的感受更為輕鬆。透過訪談，我們將｢山水｣的概念套入設計，把想像中的設計具體化。因此，我們想像山水是充滿美感的場景，透過描寫大自然的文字，將它轉化成空間材質，所以我們利用石皮、大理石、玻璃、木皮及木地板取代山壁、雲霧、流水、森林及木舟，如同詩詞般，簡短且有力。屋主的跟台灣傳統文化｢布袋戲｣有著很大的淵源，透過典雅口白可以讓我更透晰感受古代詩詞的美，同時劇本演出大多以｢武俠｣為背景，這也讓我觀看戲劇的演出而有更多想像的空間。｢山水｣-是描繪古代背景最主要的場景，因此如何將抽象場景轉化成現代設計元素就是我們首要的工作。
