To prevent current plastic pollution and environmental problems, one of the most waste-causing industry, hotels needs to be changed and switched to a more sustainable way to minimize environmental impact. Highland is an amenity system and products to minimize resource usage and waste in hotels. All products are designed with sustainable material without plastic and it's easy to repair and recycle. Highland concept is using resources in a sustainable way and delivering users different kinds of natural premium experience. Overall design of Highland is inspired by the ice cap of highlands, which is reflecting the climate crisis.

현재의 플라스틱 오염으로 인한 환경 문제의 해결을 위해서는 여러 분야에서 변화와 노력이 필요합니다. 그중 호텔은 일회용품과 플라스틱 소모품을 가장 많이 소비하는 업계 중 한 곳으로, 더 지속 가능한 미래를 위해 지금의 문제들을 해결해야 할 필요가 있습니다. 하이랜드 컨셉은 어메니티 시스템에서 자원 사용을 최소화하고 폐기물을 줄이기 위해 플라스틱을 배제한 새로운 운영 방식과 제품들을 제안합니다. 소모 용품은 다회 용품으로 대체하고, 낭비되는 자원을 막기 위해 리필 시스템을 활용합니다. 그리고 그 시스템을 위한 제품들도 지속 가능한 소재들을 사용해 디자인했고, 쉽게 수리되고 재활용도 가능합니다. 하이랜드의 전반적인 디자인은 지금의 기상 위기를 떠올릴 수 있는 녹고 있는 고원의 눈에서 영감을 받아 디자인했습니다.
