Existing fans are used after summer. However, there are moments when you can't go outside due to COVID-19 and fine dust, but you need to get some light air or when you want to dry the laundry. At that time, rather than a dusty fan left in the garage, I wanted to make an electric fan that naturally functions by permeating the space. Brise has a presence as a furniture just by standing, and can have a gentle breeze regardless of the season. A directional wind is created by simply laying down the fan, and it hits the curved surface of the tabletop and turns into non-orientation. In this way, the design of Brise acts aesthetically, functionally.

기존의 선풍기는 여름이 지나면 쓰임을 다한다. 그렇지만 코로나와 미세먼지 등으로 바깥에 나갈 수 없지만 가벼운 바람을 쐬고 싶을 때 또는 빨래를 말리고 싶을 때처럼 필요한 순간이 있다. 그럴 때 창고에 방치된 채 먼지가 쌓인 선풍기보다는 공간에 스며들어 자연스럽게 그 기능을 하는 선풍기를 만들고자 했다. Brise는 단지 서 있는 것만으로도 가구로서의 존재감을 가지며, 계절과 상관없이 부드러운 바람을 쐴 수 있다. 단순히 팬을 눕힌 구조에서 지향성의 바람이 만들어지는데, 이것이 테이블 상판의 곡면에 부딪혀서 비지향성의 바람으로 전환된다. 이런 식으로 Brise의 디자인은 심미적이고도, 기능적으로 작용한다.
